Training Program

TLS Labs offers window installation training using the methods we believe are the most effective methods in the construction industry today.

We train using AAAMA method B with pan system.

Typically we train using vinyl windows for new construction. This means the windows have nailing flanges (fins) .

If you prefer wood or aluminum windows we can use them as well. You will need to supply 2 windows for use in training. 

Training begins at 7:00 AM and usually concludes at 2:00pm,

This is hands on training. We will break into 2 teams and actually install 2 windows. After the installation is complete, we water test them using differential pressure. This will be the same testing that occurs on many of the larger projects in California, ASTM E 1105 and AAMA 502-12. 

Your installers will understand both the installation methods and the testing methods that  they may be subjected to by industry testing experts.

After your installers successfully pass the final test they will be given pocket cards and hard hat stickers to show that they have been trained by us.

The cost of training is $400.00/ student. We need a minimum of 6 students for a class. We can train up to 10 students in a class.

Training is scheduled for every other Friday.
